We conducted extensive market research to understand the needs, preferences, and challenges of both the mentees and the mentors in the Nepali startup ecosystem. We surveyed over 500 potential users, interviewed over 50 mentors and experts, and analyzed the existing mentorship platforms and programs in the market.
We found out that there is a huge demand for mentorship among the Nepali startup community, but there is a lack of supply and quality of mentors. We also found out that there is a lack of trust, transparency, and accountability in the current mentorship models, which often result in unsatisfactory and unproductive outcomes.
Based on our research, we developed MentorWho, a platform that aims to solve the mentorship gap in the Nepali startup ecosystem by providing:
